Renaissance Cleveland

For the historic Renaissance Hotel property, K2M performed an Accessibility survey using ANSI 117.1 standards, a historical assessment, an egress analysis, and an exterior assessment of the facade. The team prepared reports in accordance with the Property Improvement Plan.

The Accessibility assessment included document review, surveys of the hotels public areas, guest suites, exterior areas and back of house areas. The Historic assessment involved source research, review of the State Historic Preservation Office records, photograph survey and identification of historic elements. The Egress Analysis included a review of the 2011 Ohio Building Code for egress requirements for travel distance, exit width, number of exits and general exiting criteria. The Exterior Assessment focused on the condition of the historic façade, past repairs, the condition of individual building elements and the condition of the adjacent garage structure.
